Aamer A. Sarfraz is founder and Chief Executive Officer of Draper Oakwood Royalty Capital, which he established in affiliation with Tim Draper, one of the world's most successful venture capitalists.  Draper Oakwood is authorised and regulated by the UK Financial Conduct Authority, and is part of the Draper Venture Network (www.drapernetwork.com).

Aamer is a serial entrepreneur and investor. He is founder of several businesses, managed through Indus Basin Holding (www.indusbasin.com). These include Better Grain (www.bettergrain.co.uk), which builds sustainable agricultural supply chains worldwide, working with thousands of small-hold farmers to use technology to grow better crops and increase livelihoods.

Previously, Aamer worked at The Electrum Group in London for 8 years. The Electrum Group, invests in public and private companies in the natural resources sector. At The Electrum Group, Aamer built strategic partnerships across the Middle East & Asia, launched ventures in new countries, and helped build one of the largest gold and precious metals exploration portfolios in the world.  Aamer also worked at private equity firms 3i venture capital and Ithmar Capital.

Aamer serves as a Member of the President’s Circle at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston (www.bcm.edu), Member of the International Advisory Board of Texas A&M University (www.tamu.edu), Trustee of the Cogito Scholarship Foundation in London (www.cogitoscholar.org), Member of the Wolfson College Strategy Group in Oxford (www.wolfson.ox.ac.uk), Trustee of his family foundation - the Fazaldad Institute (www.fazaldad.org), and Member of the Board of Governors of the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) Pakistan (www.wwfpak.org).  He is Honorary Consul of Estonia in Pakistan.

He holds an MSc (with Distinction) in Information Systems from the London School of Economics & Political Science, and graduated from Boston University’s School of Management. While still a graduate student, he conceived of and launched the UK’s All-Party Parliamentary Group on Entrepreneurship.



Rod Perry is a seasoned international venture capitalist. He served as Global Head of Venture Capital at 3i Group plc (www.3i.com), one of the oldest private equity groups in the world. He was at 3i for over 20 years, and had numerous roles, including overall responsibility for 3i's venture capital investments in 7 countries. He also served on 3i’s Executive Committee.

Rod served as non-executive chairman of PartyGaming plc, which went public in the London Stock Exchange with a valuation in excess of $8billion, until its merger with Bwin Interactive. Thereafter, he served as Deputy Chairman of bwin.Party Digital Entertainment, which was then the world's largest publicly traded online gaming firm. He has also served as Senior Independent Director at Indago Petroleum, and 3Legs Resources plc.

He started his technology career with GCHQ, a British intelligence and security agency.

Rod currently serves as an Advisor to Amanat Holdings PJSC in Dubai which is listed on the Dubai Stock Exchange.  Amanat invests Prime Equity in Healthcare and Education in the region.  He is also Chairman of the Audit and Risk Committee of Itamar Capital Partners which is a DIFC regulated company in Dubai, investing in special situations.  Rod is Chairman of the Board of Objectivity Ltd, a successful agile software developer and system integrator based in the UK and Poland.

He holds a BSc (Hons) from the University of Salford.

As an advocate for entrepreneurs and free markets, Tim is regularly featured as a keynote speaker in entrepreneurial conferences throughout the world, has been recognized as a leader in his field through numerous awards and honors, and has frequent TV, radio and headline appearance.

His venture successes include Skype, Overture, Baidu, Tesla, Parametric Technology, Hotmail, Digidesign, and hundreds of others.

He was ranked #52 on the list of the 100 most influential Harvard Alumni, and #7 on the Forbes Midas List. He was named Always-On #1 top venture capital deal maker. He was awarded the Commonwealth Club’s Distinguished Citizen Award for achievements in green and sustainable energy. His original suggestion to use viral marketing in web-based email to geometrically spread an internet product was instrumental to the success of Hotmail and has been adopted as a standard marketing technique by thousands of businesses.

To further encourage entrepreneurship, Tim started the Draper University of Heroes (www.draperuniversity.com), a school for entrepreneurs, and Bizworld.org, a non-profit for children to learn entrepreneurship. He leads Innovate Your State (www.innovateyourstate.org) and Six Californias, initiatives to improve the governance of California.

Tim founded the Draper Venture Network (www.drapernetwork.com), a global network of venture capital funds that cooperate on due diligence, corporate relationships and co-investment.

Ali Erfan has had a wide ranging business career, including venture capital and private equity. He was a Partner at 3i Group’s London headquarters (www.3i.com), as part of the venture capital team, and member of the management committee for the global venture capital business. He led 3i’s venture capital expansion into the GCC and China, and led 3i’s investment into new sectors including clean tech and alternative energy.

Ali also had extensive investment experience in natural resources, particularly precious metals mining worldwide, including with public mining companies such as NovaGold and Gabriel Resources, and a number of private companies in the sector. Ali was a founding member of Leor Energy, and oil & gas exploration company in Texas, that was acquired by EnCana for $2.55billion.

Ali is founder of the Cogito Scholarship Foundation (www.cogitoscholar.org), a UK charity.  He holds a BA and MA (Hons) from Oxford University, and an MBA from the London Business School. He is a Fellow of the Kauffman Foundation for Venture Capital (www.kauffmanfellows.org).

Richard Atterbury

Richard Atterbury is currently Chairman of AgFe (www.agfe.com), a specialist in European financial assets. He is also Director of the Soros Economic Development Fund and Chairman of New Philanthropy Capital.

He has 28 years of investment banking experience in both Europe and the US. He was a Vice Chairman at Nomura International, having previously been co-head of European Capital Markets and global co-head of the Financial Sponsors Group at Lehman Brothers. He was also a member of the firm’s European Operating Committee. He also spent 7 years at Morgan Stanley in London where he was global co-head of the Financial Sponsors Group and Chairman of European Leveraged Finance. Richard has also worked in the US at Bank of America and as Treasurer of Applied Power, Inc. Richard has a B.A. from Jesus College, University of Cambridge.

Amanda Bush

Amanda Bush is a partner at St. Augustine Capital Partners, LLC, a Texas-based opportunistic partnership offering consulting services, client development, and strategic advice to clients ranging from start-up companies to established, diversified corporations in industries such as technology, energy, commercial real estate, and financial services.

She also serves as Of Counsel at Jackson Walker, LLP, (www.jw.com) where she serves as outside counsel to her clients, advising them on corporate and legal strategies, assisting with legal and business development, and managing a broad array of legal matters.

Amanda was named the 2016 National Woman of the Year by the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society for raising over $490,000 in 10-weeks, a national record. She was also the 2012 recipient of the Dallas Regional Chamber’s ATHENA award. She has been named a “Rising Star” by Thomson Reuters (2007-2014) and a “Top Attorney” by Fort Worth, Texas magazine. In 2012, Amanda was named to the Fort Worth Business Press’s prestigious “40 Under 40” list. She was also featured in the book Legendary Locals of Fort Worth, which profiled prominent Fort Worth, Texas residents, and in the Fort Worth Business Press’s cover story, Media Savvy in January 2008. Amanda currently serves on the Advance Team of The University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. She served as the Chair of the MD Anderson Dallas/Fort Worth Living Legend event in 2012 and as the Co-Chair of the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra’s Centennial Gala in 2012. Amanda co-chaired the Barbara Bush Foundation for Family Literacy’s Dallas/Fort Worth’s Celebration of Reading from 2003-2014. Amanda traveled to Turkey in 2012 and to Saudi Arabia in 2011 as part of a U.S. Congressional-led business delegation.

She received her B.A. degree, summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, from The University of Texas and her J.D. degree from The University of Texas School of Law.

Amanda lives in Austin with her husband, Texas Land Commissioner George P. Bush, and their two sons, Prescott and Jack.



Sander Kaus is a founder of Temple Capital, a growth equity and capital preservation house for PE investments, asset management and real estate in Baltics and Finland (www.templecap.com). Given the experience and educational diversity many HNW investors have trusted Sander to manage their complex investments.

Since 2002 Sander has been an active entrepreneur building up diversified investment positions in four industries: asset management, real estate, public healthcare and IT services. As an active entrepreneur over the last decade, his passion for innovation has allowed him to gain diverse experience through each stage of the business cycle; from start-up projects and capital restructuring all the way through to successful exit strategies. Prior to his personal ventures, Sander held several senior positions in industry, namely CEO of Hansa Leasing Ltd (Baltic’s), Director of Helmes Management Consultants Ltd (Estonia) and Manager at Lufthansa AG (Estonia & Germany).

Sander is a member of YPO, O4SH, Oxford Business Alumni and British-Estonian Chamber of Commerce. He is a co-founder of a NPO developing largest yachting marina infrastructure in Tallinn (www.kjs.ee) and a non-executive board member in Estonian largest privatized outpatient hospital (www.medicum.ee). A competitive sportsman, Sander has excelled in both tennis and golf, winning several tournaments in each discipline. His overriding passion for family and friendship define Sander and recognize the importance of diversity in his life.
